A Bittersweet Announcement
With both a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit, we want to share some important news about Pine Valley Baptist Church.
After much prayer, discussion, and seeking the Lord’s direction, we have made the difficult decision to bring the ministry of Pine Valley Baptist Church to a close. Our final worship service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
This is not a decision we have made lightly. For nearly 160 years, Pine Valley Baptist Church has been a part of our community. Throughout those years, generations of people have gathered together to worship Christ, hear the Word of God, celebrate baptisms, serve their neighbors, support missionaries, raise families, and encourage one another in the faith.
We are incredibly thankful for every pastor, member, volunteer, family, and friend who has invested in the ministry of this church. We praise God for every life that has been touched, every person who has come to know Christ, every believer who has been discipled, every prayer that has been prayed, and every act of service that has been offered throughout the years.
We celebrate what God has done through Pine Valley Baptist Church.
The building may one day be empty, and the name Pine Valley Baptist Church may no longer be on the sign, but the work God has done through this church and the eternal impact of His Gospel will never be erased.
